People tell us that having the opportunity to make new friends, keeping in touch with the friends they have, and learning new skills are very important to them.

OPAL has groups and activities to help people to do this. These currently include:

Meets on a Tuesday afternoons here at the LINK Centre

You decide on the activities the group do

Some of the things we have done are:

  • Quizzes
  • Cooking
  • Arts and crafts
  • Going out for lunch

Women’s Group
DescriptionOur Women’s Group is a fun place for women to meet up and enjoy different activities. Recently, we have enjoyed a visit to Manchester to hunt for the bee statues and created some crafts for the Annie Kenney statue unveiling!
